Total 32 students participated in this event. Dr. Madhusree Halder (Faculty of Department of Botany) guided the students properly in every aspect for a successful field visit.

Field visit is a compulsory part of B.Sc Botany (General) degree course of semester VI under CBCS curriculum, we have organized a field visit to Rice Research Station Chinsurah, Hooghly. Objective of this type of tour is to aware students about the cultivation method, timing and every minute details of the cultivated plants and its importance to our society.

Students of Bioscience (G) took part enthusiastically to fulfill our goal, they experienced different practical facts about our staple food crop and its socio-economical value.
