10 Students participated. . Dr. Madhusree Halder (Faculty of Department of Botany) guided the students properly in every aspect for a successful excursion.

Local excursion is a part of B.Sc Botany (General) degree course of semester II under CBCS curriculum.

Objective of this type of tour is to aware students about local plants, to know their scientific background and give them practical knowledge about collection, identification of wild angiosperms and preparation of herbarium specimen.

It is very helpful for students to learn and understand their course as well as they gained practical knowledge about angiosperms and their diversity.
