5students of semester I participated in the local excursion they love to gather knowledge about plant diversity.

We organized thetour at Seram[ore locality.

Objective:

 Local excursion is a compulsory part of B.Sc Botany (General) degree course of semester I under CBCS curriculum. The aim is giving students a proper idea of medicinal plants, their uses and information about maintenance of the garden.

 

Students of semester I took part enthusiastically to fulfil our goal, they gathered knowledge about different plant groups, their habit, habitat and their ecological importance. It was beneficial for them.
