Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Electronic Science of Serampore Girls’ College together arranged an Open House Discussion for Semester 1 students on 8th December, 2021. 12 students and all teachers from each department attended this program. Students openly discussed about different issues they are facing after introducing offline classes. Students state that they are feeling comfortable with their offline classes. One student complained that she is in trouble with Honors syllabus. Some of them have problem with timing of the first class (9:45 a.m.) as their hometowns are far from the college. They are convinced with the college administration. But major problem  which is pointed out from the discussion is that they are facing difficulties in hardware laboratory as there are not sufficient equipments in the hardware Lab.

Open House Program is arranged to make sure the overall environment is one that you’ll feel comfortable in. Take some time to check out the  library and maybe even search for a cozy study area (as a student, you’ll likely spend a lot of time in these spaces).
