Speaker: Mr Ishan Chakraborty

An Extension Lecture Programme was arranged on 6 April 2022. Mr Ishan Chakraborty, Assistant Professor of English, Jadavpur University delivered a talk on Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House. Students of 2,4 and 6th semesters were present.

1. To introduce our students to the works of the dramatist, Henrik Ibsen and, overall, modern drama.

2. To inspire them to critically engage with literary texts.

3. To teach them how to contextualize canonical literary texts.

1. Students listened to the talk with great interest and it was a very good learning experience for them.

2. Our students were highly satisfied with they lecture and it provided them with great intellectual nourishment.
