The English Language Day, as declared by United Nations, was celebrated on 23rd April 2022 by the Department of English, Serampore Girls’ College.  The students of the department participated in various activities to celebrate the birthday of the great Bard of Avon, Shakespeare. There were poetry reading sessions, PPT presentation on film adaptations of Shakespeare. Selected scenes from Macbeth were also performed on stage by the students.
