A study Tour to Victoria Memorial Hall and Indian Museum was organised for the students of the Department of English on 13 April, 2022. 48 students and 7 teachers participated in this tour. As the syllabus demands a proper understanding of the colonial pretexts of English Literature, the tour offered a lot to the students about the imperial and indigenous parapharnalia.

1. To introduce the students to thr history of Colonial India and Victorian Period

2. To train the students on the concepts of anthropology, exoticism, Egyptology and relate these academically

3. To promote sharing and learning

The study tour to two renowned and historic sites enriched our students intensely in an interdisciplinary way, and the teachers were benefitted as well. The tour was refreshing and enjoyable for all. Sharing and learning have a fifferent flavour of its own
