Brief Description: The Extension Lecture Programme on Footprints of Partition: Representations of the 1947 Partition focused on the nuances of Partition Literature and its after effects. The themes and issues discussed was enriching as the students crossed the boundaries of their syllabus and explored new areas of interrelated issues.

 

Objective

1. To introduce the students to the parameters of Partition Literature- its scope and perspectives
2. To discuss critical issues related to the texts prescribed in the syllabus and encourage student interaction

Outcome

1. The students were interested in this session as they had the scope to discuss critical issues related to their prescribed texts.
2. The lecture was enriching for the students and had given them the scope for interactions while exploring new areas of interest.
