English Language day was celebrated to commemorate the birth and death of William Shakespeare. The students of the department organize and actively participate in various programmes in memory of the great Bard of Avon. Scenes from the plays of Shakespeare are performed by the students after rehearsing for many days. Students engage themselves in Power point presentation, Poetry reading session, paper presentation.

4. To provide the students a platform to focus on their understanding of Shakespeare through cultural activities

• Students participated in acting out of Shakespeare’s plays.
• Students expressed their vision of Shakespeare in the 21st century.
• The programme helped in gathering of proper aptitude of reading Shakespeare.
• It encouraged growth and nurtured creativity within the students.
