 English Language  day was celebrated to commemorate the birth and death of William Shakespeare. The students of the department organize and actively participate in various programmes in memory of the great Bard of Avon. Scenes from the plays of Shakespeare are performed  by the students after rehearsing for many days. Students engage themselves in Power point presentation, Poetry reading session, paper presentation.

• To make the teaching learning significant through students’ participation
• To explore the works of Shakespeare
• To provide the students a platform to focus on their understanding of Shakespeare through cultural activities

 

• Students participated in reading out from Shakespeare’s plays.
• Students expressed their vision of Shakespeare in the 21^stcentury.
• It encouraged growth and nurtured creativity within the students.
