Description

Departments of Sciences (Computer science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronic Science, Botany, Zoology) have planned and organized a ‘Science Day’ celebration on 28th of February, 2024. With the proper guidance of our honorable Principal Madam and collaborative participation of all the departments made this event fruitful on the very day. The event inaugurated by our honorable President Dr. Sudipto Roy and also other members from the governing body were present during the event. The inaugural song was presented students from music department and introductory speech was delivered by the student of computer science. A lecture on butterfly was given by our special guest on that day Mr. Judhajit Dasgupta (Ex. Assistant Editor, Desh Patrika, ABP Ltd.). After that we had a poster presentation event by our enthusiastic students who showed really nice levels of ingenuity and thoughtfulness through their works. Dr. Sandip Majumdar, Mr. Debkanti Das and Nandita Kundu (Associate Professor from the department of History) were the judges to evaluate the striking presentations among these new hopes. Also there was Debate competition for the students, where students shared their ideas on the given topic. This competition was judged by the faculty members Moumita Ghosal, Dr. Asraful Alam and Dr. Madhushree Haldar. Prize distribution was arranged at the end of the program to encourage students.
