Description
Our Department organized a Debate competition for the students of 5th and 3rd-semester honours.
Objective
- The primary goal of a debate is for students to generate effective critical thinking into primary issues in the given topic.
- To practice how to discuss an issue, which will be helpful for us in the future.
- To express opinions/views on current issues.
- To join a maximum number of students in a healthy debate so they can confidently give their opinions on an issue.
Outcome
- Students were apprised about the type of short questions of (1 mark) each that can be asked in university exams.
- The set of 12 questions was also suggested for the upcoming exams. It encouraged the students to prepare for exams thoroughly.
- It was an engaging session.
