Description

Parent- teachers meeting held on 27.11.2024 at 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for 1st and 5th semester students on the basis of their result of CIE examination, 2024. Parents attended this meeting to remain apprised of their daughter’s academic progress and assist in resolving the issues that arise.

Objective

  • Increase communication between college and parents of students.
  • Keep parents informed about their daughter’s progress.
  • Develop a plan for the student's future.
  • Establish rapport with the teacher
  • Listen carefully to the positive and negative suggestions from teachers
  • Develop an action plan. Action plan should include steps to resolve and improve upon the student’s performance in class.
  • Share daily experience and observation to plan, prepare and execute planning for better learning outcome of student.

Outcome

  • Parent-teachers meeting is important for both parents to build a strong and productive partnership between the teaching staff and the parents of the students.
  • Communicating efficiently between parents and teachers about a student’s academic progress can increase performance.
  • Parent Teacher Meetings can help parents gain in-depth knowledge of their daughter’s academic performance and behaviour in class.
  • Organizing a parent-teacher meeting allows both parties to investigate thoroughly into student strengths, weaknesses, and development.
  • Parent-teacher meetings give teachers an opportunity to discuss strategies that parents and guardians can implement at home to support student’s learning, including any academic or behavioural obstacles preventing a student from performing well at school.
