  • To edit and publish unpublished Sanskrit text and Manuscripts in future.
  • To develop a basic knowledge of the operations, services, organization, staffing, and resources of an academic library.
  • Be able to determine if one has sufficient interest in a library career to pursue a Master’s of Library and Information Science degree upon graduation. 
  • To help them find out more research or job opportunities in various institutions and libraries.

Outcome

  • Students acquainted the process of preservation and cataloguing manuscripts and books too.
  • It promoted research and publication of unpublished manuscripts.
  • It enhanced student’s interest and appreciation of India’s manuscript heritage.
  • It encouraged advance studies in manuscriptology and library Science.
  • Even they can apply for the workshop or further advance courses on manuscriptology.
  • This has helped students gain fundamental knowledge about library studies, which will benefit them in their careers.
