Description

The Department of Sanskrit had organized the Quiz Competition for students of 2nd & 4th Semester on 11.07.2025 at Room No. NB 5 during 11:45 p.m. to 02:45 p.m.

Objective

  • To promote interest in Sanskrit language and literature among students through an engaging and competitive format.
  • To encourage deeper understanding of Indian culture, philosophy, and heritage, as reflected in Sanskrit texts.
  • To enhance students' knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, and classical works, both in prose and poetry.
  • To develop analytical thinking and recall skills through quiz-based learning activities.
  •  To foster teamwork, collaboration, and healthy competition among participants.
  • To identify and nurture talent in the field of Sanskrit studies.
  • To celebrate the richness of Sanskrit as one of the world's oldest and most scientific languages.

Outcome

  • Increased awareness and appreciation of Sanskrit language and literature among the participants and audience.
  • Improved understanding of core Sanskrit concepts, including grammar (vy?kara?a), vocabulary, and classical texts.
  • Boost in student confidence and motivation to learn and engage with Sanskrit in academic and extracurricular contexts.
  • Strengthened teamwork and communication skills, especially among team-based participants.
