Description

The Department of Sanskrit organized the inauguration programme of the wall magazine on the topic "Sanskrit Suffix (Pratyaya?)." Students of 2nd and 4th Semester (Major in Sanskrit - SANM) participated in this programme. The event was held on 24th July 2025 at 11 a.m. in Room No. NB 5. All the teachers of Sanskrit Department, Dr. Sayanti Talukdar (Associate Professor, Department of Philosophy), Dr. Snigdha Chattopadhyay (Associate Professor, Department of Bengali), and Mr. Subrata Tudu (Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy) also participated in this programme.

Objective

1. Encouraging Creativity: To provide a platform for students (or members of an organization) to showcase their creative writing, art, poetry, drawings, photography, etc.

2. Enhancing Communication Skills: To develop and improve writing, editorial, and visual communication skills among contributors.

3. Sharing Knowledge: To disseminate information, news, educational content, and current events relevant to the institution or theme.

4. Fostering Teamwork: To promote collaboration, coordination, and a sense of responsibility among students or team members working on the magazine.

5. Promoting Expression: To offer a voice to students or employees where they can express opinions, thoughts, and perspectives freely.

6. Highlighting Talent: To recognize and display hidden or emerging talents in literature, arts, and design.

7. Building Confidence: To boost self-esteem and confidence of contributors through public appreciation and visibility.
