Description

Department of Sanskrit organized the Add On Course 2025 entitled “Development of Spoken & Writing Skills in Sanskrit Language” on basic Sanskrit Grammar. 9 students got registered in this course. Classes held in hybride mode for 34 hours. Examination & Certificate Distribution held in College premises.

Objective

The objective of this course if to give students a taste of Sanskrit as a living language by introducing them to its basic grammatical structures so that they can start understanding simple texts as well as allow them to use it in daily life.

Outcome

• Develop the skills to speak Sanskrit fluently and write spontaneously. • Conversational Skills: Gain the confidence to hold basic conversations in spoken Sanskrit. • Unlock the Classics: Become able to read and understand simple Sanskrit verses (shlokas). • It is designed also for making the students familiar to the simple analysis on Declension, Cunjugation, Suffix, Case-ending etc. of Panini’s Astadhyayi.
