Objective of the Programme1. To learn about the nature of Caste System and Caste Politics of India. 2. To learn about the emergence of minorities 3. Place of ActivityThe Seminar program was enlightened with the Lecture program of each and every invited speaker. Along with that an understanding of Caste in India was also seen from the perspective of the different paper presenters. So the program provided a platform for interaction between the distinguished speaker and the paper presenters. The whole program was organized within the premises of Serampore Girls’ College.

1. The students were enlighten with the talk of the distinguished speakers . It provided them a detail understanding of what is Caste System and the existing Politics of Caste system.
2. Research Scholars shared the recent analysis of the Caste based representation in Local Government and state legislature.
