A PowerPoint presentation on the Food processing industry with special reference to India done by Student Sayantika Ghosh of the geography department under the supervision of teacher Taniya kar, dated 04/09/2019 in a departmental student seminar. It has been decided by students teacher interaction that one concept would be presented by one student for 30 mints and after that questions could be raised and debate could be conducted by other participants.

ONE DAY ONE CONCEPT

A Student seminar has the function of bringing together small groups of students to motivate and focus each time on some particular subject, in which everyone present is requested to actively participate. It is essentially a place where assigned readings are discussed, questions can be raised and debates can be conducted.

 

The idea behind the seminar system is to familiarize students more extensively with the methodology of their chosen subject and also to allow them to interact with examples of the practical problems that always occur during their course.
