On the occasion of Earth Day, teachers and students showed different awareness activities in their home with their communities to remind of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’ and some significant contributions that they could make to support ‘Go Green’ drive. They were advised to create a green corner in the department. They also indulged in promoting clean environment, not to use plastic. Our principal madam Dr. Soma Roy in her special address to the students, mentioned the importance of being receptive to the urgent need towards securing the natural resources. Students of the College took out a rally and gave the message of planting more and more trees , not use plastic in everyday life for the protection of nature. Charts, were also made related to this subject on which beautiful messages were written for the protection of the earth
